Antoni Artzer, born about 1719 in Zweibruchen, Stambach, Germany was found in the 1767 Original Settlers List for Seewald (Verkhovye), Russia.  On August 20, 1767 he moved to Seewald as a widower with 4 children.  Balthasar (12), Elisabetha (16), Catharina Barbara (9), and Catharina Margaretha (4).  Antoni is listed as bein a weaver.

 

In the 1798 Volmer Census Barbara (1755), Ludwig Ostertag’s daughter, married a Jakob Artzer from Seewald in 1790.  Information supplied by an Ostertag Family Tree lists Jakob Artzer (1776) as being the son of Johannes Balthasar Artzer’s (1755) and wife Katharina Puhl (1756).
