I have been trying to find where the Prediger family came from before they came to Russia. I have not found them on any Original Settlers List as of yet. However, I have made some discoveries lately that will lead us in the right direction.
In the 1834 Leitchling Census (that I translated for Darryl Boyd) I discovered a Prediger family. This family moved to Leitchling in 1819 and came from the Colony Köhler (Karaulnyi-Buyeraka). This is very exciting and now all we have to do is check the 1815 or 1798 Census for Köhler to trace this family backwards and we should be able to find out which Original Settlers List they will be on.

This John Prediger is a descendant of the Peter Prediger in the 1834 Volmer Census and the 1850 Volmer Census Records. |
