I am researching the Rolhieser surname. My grandfather, Adam Braun listed his mother as Amy Rolheiser and his father as Johan Braun. My grandfather immigrated in 1903 from Husaren, Russia with the help of his wife's brother Adam Schiefelbein also of Husaren. I have found limited information in the records of St. Joseph's Catholic church in Topeka. These records are on microfilm (in Latin) at the Kansas Historical Society. The only other information that I ever got was from an aunt who claimed that the family originated in Rothammel. Any information that you have would be of interest to me.
