Heinrich Mosman came to Volmer with his wife, Maria Christina, and four children. Out of the four children only one, Ludwig, remained in Volmer and produced 3 male offspring that continued the family name.
This family name can be found in the 1834 Volmer Census and the 1850 Volmer Census.
