I have descended from the Stang and Doetzel lineages and was quite intrigued by the information on your site.
My great-grandparents were Jacob Doetzel & Justina Stang, and John Stang & Mary Doetzel.
I would love to find out more about the family history in Gernsheim and earlier too just to see how far back it can be traced.
