Sergio is looking to connect his family tree from Argentina to the 1850 Volmer Census.
Hola Angela Gartner:

My response to Sergio:
Hola Sergio,
I No hablo español.
There are many males living in Volmer in 1850. Joseph Detzel is a very common name in Volmer. There are 8 Detzel households listed in the 1850 Volmer Census, 3 of them have a son named Joseph.
There is a Joseph who was born in 1842. There is a Joseph who was born in 1840. There is a Joseph who was born in 1847.
To be sure which Joseph is the right Joseph you need to find who his parents were. Have you found the “ship list” of your German-Russian ancestors arriving to Argentina? On that list the name of a family member may be listed as a means of contact if Joseph were to die during the trip.
Also what were the names of Joseph’s children? Often the 1st or 2nd born son was named after the father’s father. This could be another hint.
Recuerdos,
Angela
