Diana is hoping to make contact with the Canadian Blatz and Reschny relatives. She contacted me with the request:
My name is Diana. I come from Germany. One of my aunts searches for relatives with the name Blatz and Reschny who lived in Volmer and immigrated to Canada. Her mother Eugenia Blatz, born 2.11.1922 in Volmer, and her uncle Jacob Blatz jr.(Eugenia's brother)live in Germany. The maiden name of Jacob's wife was Stang. They have three children. The daughters live in Germany, the son died. Jacob Blatz sr. and Maria Blatz(Reschny)were the parents of Eugenia and Jacob jr. Jacob Blatz sr. worked as teacher in Saratov. Joseph Blatz was their grandfather.
Carl Reschny was the father of Maria Blatz(Reschny). He was painter, with Austrian origin.
Eugenia and Jacob immigrated to Germany from Kasachstan in 1992 or 1994. We look for information about the family Blatz and Reschny living in Canada. Jacob and Eugenia corresponded with the family Blatz in Canada until 1970. But unfortunately they had to stop their exchange of letters.
