I added The Peter Beilman Story, that was compiled by Cathy Hawinkels. Please read it as it tells of his and his families journeys and how they came to Canada.  There is mention of many other Volmer and Schuck families as well as some mention of families that went to Argentina. 
I have also added an new researcher to the Researchers page.  I would like to welcome Bill Domme.  Bill lives in Topeka, Kansas.  His descendants are from many of the Volga Villages.  Please check out his page.

Does anyone have pictures of Volmer that can be emailed to me?  Many of you have requested that I ask.
I have added the other family trees that Pablo Simon sent me.  It will take a couple of days for Rootsweb to update the Volmer Village Database.  These families are:

It has been some time since I have been able to work on genealogy.  I am currently going to school and am taking a nursing program.  I hope to get back into genealogy in the fall.  Please be patient as I am still working on some of your requests.
I have  also received some donations and greatly appreciate it.  Once I am done school I will let everyone know what my plans will be for the money…  I have been working on getting more documents.
I entered a new family tree into the Volmer Village Database. (Type in Stang, Johannes; he was born 1820)  This is Pablo Simon’s family tree.

It is time again for me to renew the AHSGR Membership.  The yearly fee is $50.   I also just renewed the Hosting and Domain Name which was an additional $60. Please if you have not check out the story that Cathy Hawinkels has written.  It is a very interesting read and includes the names of many other family and villager’s names.  There may be clues that might help your research. VERONICA ROTH

Lets welcome our newest member Luiz Schroh, from Curitiba-Paraná, Brazil.  He is eagerly looking to connect with Schroh descendants from other countries!
Please also welcome another new member, Pablo Simon from La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has researched for many years, check out the which couples he is looking for more info on.

Gordon Walz emailed me this link to a book that Volmer researchers use often called Prairie Legacy.  It is online and totally complete! Prairie Legacy   I also added the link to the book in the Resource Inventory Page on this website.

I have just ordered a copy of the 1834 Schuck Census from Brent Mai, for $35.  I will let everyone know when I get it in the mail.
I am currently trying to find Church records for Volmer in Russia.  Please email me if you are interested in contributing money to this cause.  I will translate them for free and I will post the documents on the website.  Angela Gartner
I changed the Home Page.
I finished the Sauer Family Page, as well as added the Michael Sauer & Emeilia Schwan Page.
I also added many Rolheiser families and individuals to the Volmer Database.  This information was taken from the War Records on the Odessa website as well as some other resources supplied by family members.
