Text Box: Aug 24, 2008 I added The Peter Beilman Story, that was compiled by Cathy Hawinkels. Please read it as it tells of his and his families journeys and how they came to Canada. There is mention of many other Volmer and Schuck families as well as some mention of families that went to Argentina. I have also added an new researcher to the Researchers page. I would like to welcome Bill Domme. Bill lives in Topeka, Kansas. His descendants are from many of the Volga Villages. Please check out his page. I am currently going to school and am taking a nursing program. I hope to get back into genealogy in the fall. Please be patient as I am still working on some of your requests. Feb 2, 2008 Gordon Walz emailed me this link to a book that Volmer researchers use often called Prairie Legacy. It is online and totally complete! Prairie Legacy I also added the link to the book in the Resource Inventory Page on this website. Feb 2, 2008 I have just ordered a copy of the 1834 Schuck Census from Brent Mai, for $35. I will let everyone know when I get it in the mail. I am currently trying to find Church records for Volmer in Russia. Please email me if you are interested in contributing money to this cause.
